UPCOMING IN-PERSON EVENTS
5K HIKE-WALK-RUN JUNE 27 AT SILVERLAKE RESERVOIR TRAIL
Sean Foy and LACERS Well are facilitating a 5K Hike-Walk-Run on Thursday, June 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Silverlake Reservoir Trail, 1850 W. Silver Lake Dr., Los Angeles, CA.
A light snack, bottled water, and a boxed to-go lunch will be provided. Be sure to dress in comfortable attire, bring your towel and sunscreen, and wear supportive shoes for walking and/or running.
SUMMER ZUMBA DANCE CLASS AT THE FRIENDSHIP AUDITORIUM
LACERS Well is hosting its first-ever Zumba Dance Class this summer!
Be ready to move your body and sweat it all out with staff and fellow retirees on Tuesday, July 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
MOM’S COMPUTER TECH WORKSHOP AT THE CALIFORNIA ENDOWMENT CENTER
Mom’s Computer, in partnership with the LACERS Well Team, is hosting a Technology Event on Thursday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The California Endowment Center, 1000 Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Opportunity drawings will also take place at the event.
Topics to be discussed will include:
- MAC vs. Windows
- iPhone vs. Android
- Managing Emails
- Updating Your Devices (Computer, Cellular Phone, etc.)
- Avoiding Email Scams
One-on-one technology assistance will be provided during the event, so be sure to bring your devices and take advantage of this valuable service!
Space is limited for these in-person events, and advance registration is required.
