Deadline for Filing a Notice of Intent Form has Passed
A ballot, voting instructions, and statement of qualifications
for the Election for the Office of the Retired Member of the
Board of Administration will be mailed on Wednesday, March 19,
2025, to Retired Members.
Marked ballots must be received by the City Clerk-Election
Division Office by the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Friday, April 11,
2025. Ballots may also be personally deposited in the
election box at the City Clerk-Election Division Office during
office hours, Monday through Friday, no later than 5:00 p.m. on
April 11, 2025.

We recognize the challenges you may be facing and want to ensure that you are still able to participate in the 2025 Election for the LACERS Retired Member of the Board, even if your personal residence has been impacted.
Preliminary Notification of Election
Self Nomination Package Mailed Out to Eligible Voters on January 15, 2025
Are you a Retired LACERS Member? Would you like to run for a seat
on the LACERS Board of Administration? If you answered “Yes”
to both questions, you must take the first step and file a Notice
of Intent form.
Beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Notice of Intent
form must be submitted in-person at the City Clerk-Election
Division – 555 Ramirez Street, Space 300, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
LACERS’ BOARD OFFICERS ELECTED
Congratulations!
Commissioner Annie Chao and Commissioner Sung Won Sohn were elected President and Vice President, respectively, at the July 25, 2023 meeting, to lead the LACERS Board of Administration for the term ending in July 2024. Election for Employee Member of Board Update
Newly re-elected Commissioner Liz Lee was sworn in for a five-year term beginning July 1, 2023. Liz Lee was re-elected to the Board by Active Members, with 72.73% of the votes cast in her favor during the election that was held on April 14, 2023.
