LACERS Retired Members Update for June

LACERS OFFICES CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19

Upcoming City Holiday: LACERS is closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. 

COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENTS WILL APPEAR ON JULY 31 PAYCHECK

The LACERS Board of Administration has approved the maximum allowable Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for eligible Retired Members and Beneficiaries at 3.0% for Tier 1 and Tier 1 Enhanced Members and 2.0% for Tier 3 Members. 

Retirees and beneficiaries will receive their increase on their July 31 paycheck.

UPDATING A BENEFICIARY FOR YOUR LACERS BENEFITS

When is the last time you reviewed your beneficiary on file with LACERS? Maybe your situation has changed since retiring, such as getting married or becoming a child’s legal guardian. Be sure to log into your MyLACERS account to view your beneficiaries on file. If you do need to make an update, visit our Forms webpage to access the necessary forms.
