Elizabeth Lee was elected to the Board of Administration of the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System by Active LACERS Members in 2018 for the term ending June 30, 2023.

Ms. Lee has held a number of positions at the City of Los Angeles where she deepened her commitment to public service, fellow employees, and the City. She is a Financial Management Specialist IV at the Office of the City Controller, Financial Analysis and Reporting Division, where she led the preparation of the City’s Single Audit and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. She currently oversees Open Data, debt, revenue and other reporting programs.

Prior to joining the City Controller, Ms. Lee spent most of her City career in the Office of the City Administrative Officer where she honed her financial, budget, capital programming and leadership skills. She began her City career in 1996 with several City departments, including Department of Transportation; Airports; Community Development Department; General Services Department; and Building and Safety. Prior to her City service, Ms. Lee worked in international banking, finance, and manufacturing sectors.

Ms. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Finance from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. She currently serves as Vice-Chair for the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers; Director for the Los Angeles Professional Managers Association; and member of the Government Finance Officers Association Online Financial Transparency Taskforce.
